Anyone in the world
Read some great news today. Drupal 8 will make use of Symfony 2 components. Symfony is an awesome object orientated PHP framework which leverage's the new object orientated features introduced in PHP since 5.3.

More information on Symfony in Drupal, and some interesting videos about the collaboration can be found on the Symfony site.

New PHP Web Programming Course?

We have been discussing introducing an web programming course for PHP that covers jQuery, PHP database access and a PHP web application framework but we were stuck on which framework to use. Since we are a big Drupal shop the decision has been made for us, not to mention that symfony is an great framework on its own.

Will let you know more as we roll out the training programme.
